Founding cohort · Live online

Make clearer decisions about your financial future.

A focused working session for established professionals who want to examine their options, challenge assumptions and plan their next 90 days with greater clarity.

You will leave with questions, priorities and a decision map, not a promised financial outcome.

The question

What would greater financial independence require in your circumstances?

For some people the pressure is income. For others it is spending, housing costs, commitments, resilience or a lack of clear choices. The Lab helps you see the whole picture before deciding what to examine next.

See your position

Identify commitments, sources of income, assets and vulnerabilities at a useful level.

Compare options

Explore the trade-offs of different paths without assuming that one route suits everyone.

Choose next steps

Set a small number of actions and questions for the next 90 days.

The working session

Bring a real question. Work through a disciplined process.

Examples include preparing for a career change, improving financial resilience, understanding housing trade-offs, or deciding which questions to take to a qualified adviser.

01

Define

State what independence means to you and what decision is actually pending.

02

Map

List your resources, obligations, uncertainties and possible sources of flexibility.

03

Compare

Test options against your goals, time horizon and downside risks.

04

Challenge

Distinguish evidence from assumptions and identify what you still need to learn.

05

Plan

Build a 90-day decision map with next actions and professional questions.

What you will receive

Time to think, a process to use and a plan to take away.

  • A short preparation worksheet
  • A live, interactive 3½-hour session with no more than 12 participants
  • Structured exercises and discussion of anonymised scenarios
  • A personal 90-day decision map that you complete yourself
  • A list of questions to raise with relevant regulated or specialist professionals
Your facilitator

Rob Adesanya

Executive educator, author and founder of The Rob Adesanya Institute.

The Lab draws on themes from Rob’s book You Were Taught to Be Poor and his Trillionaire Outlook discussions of financial choices. Rob also draws on his own experience of building financial options and helping people think through consequential choices. He shares a decision process and general educational examples. He does not act as your financial adviser.

“The useful question is not which product someone else chose. It is which options your own position allows you to examine responsibly.”

Scope and boundaries

Know what this Lab can and cannot provide.

We may discuss general concepts such as cash flow, resilience, housing choices, retirement planning questions and the difference between an asset and a recurring cost. We will not recommend that you buy, sell or change a specific investment, pension, mortgage, insurance product or property. No return, saving or level of independence is guaranteed.

Your situation may require a suitably authorised financial adviser, mortgage adviser, tax adviser, solicitor or debt support service. Please do not share account details, financial statements or sensitive personal information in the group.
